HOW MUCH MONEY WILL I SPEND ON COMICS THIS WEEK? FEBRUARY 12TH 2014

Comics! Yay! TMNT and Afterlife with Archie got delayed, so my week looks kinda small now. Batman #28 has me unbelievably hyped.

All New X-Men #23: It's time for The Trial of Jean Grey to actually get started. Will it be another shitty Bendis event? Will it be good? I don't know. I'll be reading it though.
Batman #28: I've already SPOILED this book for myself. I had to know what was going to happen. The hype is too immense for a mere mortal such as myself. I've pre-ordered this issue digitally on Comixology, and will be waking up extra early on Wednesday morning to read it. Let's just say my favourite DC (Comics in General) character will be making a special appearance on the last page (If the rumours are true). Expect a nice SPOILERIFIC screen shot Wednesday morning, and expect this to be pick of the week.
Green Lantern Corps #28: I'm kinda bored of Durlans already. I do enjoy this book, and i think Van Jensen will do a great solo job. When is Sodam Yat coming back though?
JLA #12: I'm pretty only sticking with this book because it will be over in a few issues. The Stargirl stuff could have been a lot better, and i'm getting pretty bored. Who knows, they could turn it around.
She-Hulk #1: Reading it for Soule. Soule is the only reason as to i would read a She-Hulk book. Pulido was also amazing on Hawkeye so i'm excited for this.
The Superior Spider-Man #27.NOW: There are Goblins, and they are at war. There has been a lot of build up for this arc, and i'm excited to see what happens. Peter Parker soon...

That's it for this week! Hopefully i'll have the patience to review one of these books this week! Midterm break might be the factor in all of this!

HOW MUCH MONEY WILL I SPEND ON COMICS THIS WEEK? FEBRUARY 5TH 2014

This week won't be too expensive thanks to Green Lantern/Red Lanterns #28. I spent too much last week, and these kinds of weeks are always welcome.

Action Comics #28
Action Comics #28: Action Comics has gotten really good since Pak and Kuder took over. Kuder's art is the absolute highlight, and considering that we had him with two other artists in #27, having him do the whole of #28 is a treat.
Black Widow #3
Black Widow #3: These sort of one shot spy stories with the weaving narrative are really fun. Edmondson is doing some great work here. Phil Noto better be staying on this book! He consistently kills it.
Earth 2 #20
Earth 2 #20: Earth 2 Annual #2 was my pick of the week last week, and hopefully this one will be great too. Hopefully the story will move along a little faster. I think Green Lantern will be back soon so thats always good considering he has been missing for so long. Nicola Scott is taking a break this issue, so hopefully the fill in art will be good.
Forever Evil #5
Forever Evil #5: YES. FOREVER EVIL WEEK BABY. I just get so hyped for every part of this book, and it only gets worse when an issue gets delayed. Hoping for some Sinestro return explanation, and Power Ring stuff. Isn't Jessica Cruz supposed to be in this series? (according to the teasers). There is a lot of ground to cover in only 3 issues, and it seems like it is only getting started.
Green Arrow #28
Green Arrow #28: Jeff Lemire is good. He is probably my favourite writer at DC. Outsider War is pretty great so far. Let's hope it keeps up.
Green Lantern #28Red Lanterns #28
Green Lantern/Red Lanterns #28: Based on the sheer value, this should be pick of the week. I'll be reserving my judgement though. No doubt this will be a great book, Vendetti and especially Soule are both great writers and i'm excited to see what's coming in the GL Universe. Oh! i'm also covering Supergirl on the site now too! THE ART IS SO PRETTY.
The Punisher #1
The Punisher #1: Needless to say, i'm super hyped for this one. I really love the art style, and of course Nathan Edmondson is doing really good with the Marvel characters that use guns. Punisher is a pretty cool guy.

I may not have any reviews for these books out for this weekend due to stupid ass University work. Maybe expect a Review of the Pick of The Week on Monday or something. I've gotta go see the Lego Movie and Monuments Men too. BUSY BUSY.

Geoff Johns and John Romita Jr. SUPERMAN!

John Romita Jr.'s Superman
I love me some JRJR. His Superman looks pretty rad too.

Glad Geoff Johns is going to be doing more than just Justice League now! Superman has been a pretty shit series since issue #1, now it's going to be pretty rad.
